Mondays at noon: Hope and the Nearness of God
Pastor Megan shares a session from Pray As You Go’s Lent Retreat based on Teresa White’s book Hope and the Nearness of God: The 2022 Lent Book. Join the meeting here.
Each session lasts 20-25 minutes and includes a stillness exercise, a short scripture reading, a period of reflection, and an opportunity to talk to the Lord. You might also like to journal as you go along, noting something that particularly stands out to you, or something that stays with you.

Wednesdays at noon: Lectio Divina
Pastor Megan leads lectio divina, or sacred reading, following a method developed by Sybil MacBeth, author of Praying in Color. Join the meeting here.
Lectio divina is a way of listening closely to scripture. It consists of four steps: reading the text (lectio), marinating in the text (meditatio), praying the text (oratio), and contemplating or resting in the text (contemplatio). You will need some paper and something to write or color with.
Each session lasts about 20 minutes.
