Rev. Megan Klose, Interim Pastor
Rev. Klose has had many careers in her life. She received her BA in Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College, and her MDiv from Wesley Theological Seminary. Before becoming a Teaching Elder, she worked on scholarship programs to China, was a production artist for print and web publications, and spent several years as a stay-at-home mom.
In her position as Parish Associate at Falls Church Presbyterian, Megan has taught classes for adults and youth, designed workshops and retreats, and led worship. She is particularly interested in designing engaging worship that appeals to all the senses and creates an environment of authenticity.
Megan has worked as a chaplain for six years. Most recently, she was a staff chaplain at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA, where she worked closely with Palliative Care, Behavioral Health, and the Cancer Resource Center. She is a trained Resolve Through Sharing facilitator in perinatal loss, and resourced medical staff and patients in Women’s Services and NICU.
She currently contributes to National Capital Presbytery by serving on the Committee on Preparation for Ministry. She is also a member of the Presbytery’s Response Coordinating Team, which leads Healthy Boundaries training and accompanies parties in cases of sexual misconduct.
Megan lives in Falls Church with her husband, Frank, and their high school senior, Alexander. They attend Falls Church Presbyterian, where Frank serves as a Deacon. Megan enjoys cardmaking and needlework, and hanging out with her family.

Diane Volcansek serves as our preschool director. Â She is a visionary leader who is helping to expand our Preschool Ministry to meet the needs of our community. Â With Diane’s leadership we have created a Preschool Ministry that allows families to select from various scheduling options.

LuAnn Bynum, Finance Administrator
LuAnn has many years of Financial/Bookkeeping experience and enjoys providing financial services for multiple churches. She grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University. She is married and has two young adult children. LuAnn grew up in a large family and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has spent much time over the years volunteering in her kid’s schools and within the community.
